Believe in yourself! Success requires complete belief. Belief in yourself requires rising above negative thinking. Believe in your value and the value you bring to the world. Work daily to enhance your self-worth. Tell yourself you have what it takes, that it’s only a matter of time, that you’re getting close and you’ll get there. You have something to contribute! The discomfort is temporary and it’s okay, you’re willing to do what’s hard and you’re committed to playing at 110%. There is no time to play small and certainly no honour in not allowing your light to shine. Conquer negative thinking and live your mission. Here is a video to help you on that journey. #UgoGetIt. #NickUgoalah ww.ugohp.com
Refuse to believe in your old excuses anymore. Say goodbye to them! Release them! It’s a brand new day. Regardless of what form they come, past failures, failed relationships, etc.. etc.. Hold yourself back no longer. Ask yourself – what work do I need to do to move past my excuses? Answer the question – begin it today! It was General Patton that said, a good idea implemented today is better than a perfect idea implemented tomorrow. So just do it today.
There are incredible opportunities waiting for you. What does it mean to you to be really alive? People are going to tell you that something that you really want can’t be done, just because they do not believe that they can do it. What dreams do you hold? Guard it. Surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you and believe in your dreams. Try something you’ve never tried before. Don’t settle. Excuses cannot hold you. Make your life a living adventure!
Nick Ugoalah still sweaty from the intense pro team practice at Team Quest discusses his Olympic and MMA dreams.
I had the opportunity to fulfill a goal here. Doing an interview on national television in Spanish. When I started studying the language, and I mean really started, I mused on how cool would it be to learn the language to the level where I could do interviews in spanish with success. I set that as an intention a couple years back (Ohhh – the power of an intention). And, here is the result. This is an interview I did in Nicaragua before a big event for one of the athletes I represent. Check it out!
