ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE

Accept the challenge. Take a stand for what you want. Don’t give up. Take one more step. It doesn’t matter how small a step, just take one more. Every journey begins with a step, then another step, just keep moving forward, focus on what you want. Activate your courage and determination to make continuous effort. Don’t worry, your stamina will improve, your resiliency will strengthen and your resolve will be impenetrable. Stay focused, keep working. Quitting for YOU is not an option. Failure for you is temporary, but more importantly carries the seed of greater opportunity. Extract the learning opportunity, correct and continue. Decide that whatever it takes, over, under, around or through, you will do. This message too tough? Well perhaps the more important question is how bad do you want it? Are you willing to go all out. Declare that you will ultimately succeed, it is only a matter of time. Begin right now to create your reality!

Challenge your fears and doubts!

Everyone at some point in their life has tough times. Face the changes and difficult decisions required. Unleash your courage on the situation, discipline yourself to do what needs to be done, as many times as necessary, until it is done. Leave the cynicism and complaining to someone else. Don’t be one of the people who wallow in self pity… asking why did this happen to me… it happened, that is all… deal with it. This is the time to remember your blessings and forget the worries, time to forget the worries and fears, and remember the things you have been blessed to have. Bring your dream out from hiding, feed it, nurture it, keep it alive.

Get ready to challenge your fears and doubts. Take some risks… resolve to persist and make an effort. No more waiting for one day to start living your dreams…TODAY IS THAT DAY!! Begin where you are with what you have. BE BRAVE!! Sure you’ll bump into challenges. Refuse to let it stop you. How you respond to the challenges of life determines who you are at your core… Respond with confidence and faith

What you fear is usually what you need to do most!

Ralph Wald Emerson stated, “what we fear is usually what we most need to do.” Keep moving forward, sure you’ll make mistakes, but don’t quit, take action every day. Leave the best of you in each day. Have no regrets. Save nothing. Sometimes to the outside person, small consistent actions might not seem like much, and might look like you are not getting anywhere. This is why it is crucial that you know where you are going. Declare a clear goal. This will give you the confidence and faith to keep going.

Sure you might have messed things up in the past, or so far off course from achieving the goal or living the life you really want to live, that it just seems impossible. You can turn things around. You can rewrite your story today. Everyday gives you the opportunity to begin again. Challenges will come, sometimes circumstances beyond your control. Activate your will. You have a will! It’s not the circumstances, but your attitude, mindset and willingness to gain the skills required and to keep moving forward. You’ve got what it takes!

Where attention is, success flows

Where your attention lies, is where your success flows.  You will get more of whatever you focus on, good or bad.  Moment of truth time – are you putting your attention more on the things you want more of in your life, or on what you fear? Decide today to take the actions, the beliefs and the mindset that support what you want out of life.  If you are producing results you don’t want, checkin in with yourself, answer honestly.  Ask yourself if you are truly putting your attention and taking courageous action towards what you want.  Have you identified what factors are key to success in getting what you want?  Don’t allow yourself to be lazy!  Push yourself, do some heavy lifting in the thinking department.  Perhaps you’ll need to approach things again from a different angle, or require specialized help, but this is certainly not time to claim fatigue, maintain the momentum, keep going.

Stay with It!

Stay positive! Whatever you are facing right now, you can get through it. People have survived business failures, losing major sporting competitions, divorces, bankruptcy, major injuries, death of loved ones, and a multitude of other challenges. Stay with it. Project yourself in the near future having survived and thrived as a result of your current circumstances.

You may be feeling that your situation is hopeless, that nobody understands, or paralized with sadness. But… there has been someone in who has experienced what you are facing and has thrived from it. Why can’t that be you? Adversity has introduced you to yourself. What decision will you make? You have a choice. Will you allow the challenge to lead you to inaction and depression? Or will you search for the seed of greatness within the adversity? This could be the seed of a new beginning. Trust yourself. Pray. Have faith! You have something special inside you.

Light your fire…

Light that fire! Get inspired, get motivated. What do you need to turn that flame in you into a ball of fire? If the fire comes and goes, what needs to happen to keep it lit. The truth, there is no time to be dull or uninspired. Trash the idea that you are bored. Or lazy. Or lack talent. There are far too many interesting things to do and experience in life. Pick one, it doesn’t matter. Just pick one. Put your heart into it. Surprise yourself. If you choose not to light a fire… what is the reason?.. Is it fear? Don’t worry about it. You have a secret weapon against fear. You have a Will! If your Will is a little soft right now, exercising it will make it stronger.

A strong will is necessary to rise above the tough challenges that come your way. The Will is like a muscle that is exercised by repeated use in dealing with life’s ups and downs. Some of us might have flabby Will muscles. The reason is, it hasn’t had any exercise in a long time. It’s gotten out of shape. It needs some toning, some bounce and resiliency, a little toughening up. The days of being soft are over. The world is ready for the real you. You have what it takes!

Take the first Step

Take the first step. Stop overthinking. Start trying. We get caught up in thinking and trying to figure out reasons for why we haven’t made things happen, we forget to try. Trying builds momentum. Take the first step. If the first step doesn’t work out, it can be made stronger through practice. Many of us fear beginning, but every journey begins with a first step. Challenge yourself to overcome your fears, believe in yourself. Unlock the courage to be the you, who you were meant to be.

Be done with the status quo! We were taught in high school science class that a body at rest tends to stay at rest unless acted upon by a force. Sir Isaac Newton’s law was correct. However, you be the force! Don’t be tempted to do nothing. If you feel stuck, take the step, you won’t be stuck longer, you will see things those who are sitting and philosophizing can’t even imagine. Opportunities will come your way. Being safe is over-rated. Hang tight, trust yourself, it’s time for the ride of your life. Time to grow. Perhaps grow or die. Sit in the middle no more! Be done with being safe. You’re a big boy/girl now, you can handle any stumbles that come your way. Take the step.

What happens when a situation seems hopeless?

Keep moving forward. Sometimes a situation seems hopeless, you have no idea how you will move beyond it and all seems lost. Don’t even think about giving up! Stay in the game. What one thing can you do to shift the balance towards the positive? Don’t give the… you don’t understand how bad my situation is answer… there is a story about a man who felt depressed that he had no shoes, until he ran into a man who had no legs… We tend to think our problems are the worst until we see someone else in a more challenging situation.

When you feel hopelessness around you, it’s time to wake up, to energize, it does not matter if you want to or not. Activate faith, faith is that belief in things unseen, believe that things will work out for you, that whatever is happening right now are just hoops that you are jumping through, making you stronger for what is ahead. You are intelligent! Unleash your smarts, get creative, start brainstorming and strategizing possible solutions and opportunities around what you are facing. What one action if you implemented would start to move up towards 0 if you are starting from a negative. You gotta man up/woman up, meaning you are going to need to persevere, it takes time to get unstuck, focus on times you’ve done well, you’ve been victorious, remember who you are and the past good you’ve done. Slowly start recreating the positive energy within yourself.

The most important, keep working! Amazing things happen when you keep swinging the bat, sometimes you connect and hit a home run. But you would’ve never even had a hit had you decided to back off. You’re adversities are there to make you better. Stay focused. You have what it takes.
